OH & S
JP Flynn is committed to the establishment, implementation and maintenance of our Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) in accordance with the requirements of AS/NZS 4801:2001.
JP Flynn considers safety to be of paramount importance within our factory and sites and our aim is to achieve an injury free workplace.
We believe it is essential that all of us develop, and maintain, a culture which supports that vision and we believe that all injuries are preventable.
Safety is not an isolated subject measured by statistics and reports; it is a measure of our total management system.
JP Flynn is committed to the requirements of individual Australian States, Territories & Commonwealth Government Occupational Health & Safety Laws & Regulations, wherever we are operating, to provide a duty of care for the health and safety of all people in the workplace. This includes employees, subcontractors, apprentices, visitors and members of the public.
JP Flynn acknowledges that anyone who can affect health and safety in the workplace has a legal responsibility to protect it. This includes everyone in the workplace being aware of potential hazards and taking steps to prevent workplace accidents, injuries and illnesses.
JP Flynn has developed, as a part of our OHMS, a Workplace Safety Manual and is fully AS/NZS 4801:2001 compliant.
This manual documents our policies, processes and procedures around workplace safety.
All of our management, estimators, staff and contractors are inducted using this Workplace Safety Manual and all of our documented service delivery procedures around estimating and the project management of repairs require reference to the Workplace Safety Manual prior to the documentation or execution of repair proposals.
